Ellie Jane Goulding is a British born on 30 December 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother. Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding is the youngest of three siblings. a sister Isabel who is older, a brother Alex and a second sister Jordan. Alex Goulding's younger brother performs bass. He is also a Hereford musician. Her mother encouraged her to pursue music as a child. She began learning to play the clarinet when she was age nine.
